Dr Pratishrut Awasthy is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) with broad experience across Australian and international healthcare settings. He has worked in metropolitan and rural general practice, as well as acute and emergency care, giving him experience in managing both urgent medical presentations and complex, ongoing health conditions.
Dr Awasthy is passionate about building long-term, trusted relationships with his patients and providing holistic, patient-centred care. He takes a practical and evidence-based approach, with a focus on clear communication and developing care plans that are tailored to each patient’s individual needs and circumstances.
His clinical interests include chronic disease management, diabetes care, cardiovascular risk assessment, adult internal medicine, preventive health, travel medicine, men’s health and children’s health.
Dr Awasthy places a strong emphasis on prevention, early detection and coordinated care. He works collaboratively with patients and, where appropriate, other healthcare professionals to support their ongoing health and wellbeing.
He welcomes patients of all ages and backgrounds and is committed to providing comprehensive general practice care throughout every stage of life.
