Billings and Fees
- Welcome to Carrara Family Practice, we are a mixed billing practice. Our commitment is to provide a high standard of quality and patient care, maintaining Australian requirements and certification.
How to book an appointment:
- At Carrara Family Practice, each appointment time is individual understanding other patients after you. This appointment could be on the same day or with anticipation by: Walk-in patients self-online booking from our website phone call to our reception All patients will be triaged by our friendly receptionist and given an appointment suitable to the urgency of the matter.
Bulk billing policy:
Our doctors will assess whether a patient could be bulk-billed or privately billed.
- Bulk billing available for all Children under 16 yrs of age, All Concession card holders, DVA & Work Cover.
At Carrara Family Practice, we provide multiple health services for the patient wellbeing. Privately billing will include:
- Pre-employment medical certificates
- Mental health plan and assess.
- Commercial driver’s license
- Travel vaccination
- Vitamin treatments and IV infusions
- BP machine 24 Hs monitoring
- Dressing and health plan
- Non-standard time of consultation and procedures
- Unpaid same day appointment will incur an additional fee cost of $20.
All New Patients

All new patients require a long-time
face-to-face consultation for their initial appointment.
Medicare Rebate
- Patients eligible for a Medicare rebate will receive rebate in their linked bank account within 1-2 business days. To update any personal and bank account detail, contact Medicare personally:
- Online at mygov.au
- Phone call 13 20 11 (24hrs)
- In person to your Medicare Service Centre
We accept:
- Cash
- Eftpos

- Apple Pay
- Weekly payment for dental lab job until this finally can be delivered
- Zippay or Zip money

Cancellation Policy
All appointments not cancelled or cancelled with our professionals within two hours of the appointment time will incur a fee. To avoid this fee, please notify us three hours before your appointment if you are experiencing any difficulty. Before you left our center, please ask the receptionist if everything is fine. At Carrara Family Practice, we appreciate a mutual sign of respect and courtesy.
